Celery, also known as Ajmoda is a vegetable very similar to parsley. It has long stalks and leaves which are both edible. The texture of celery is crunchy, fibrous little salty, and watery. This vegetable has worldwide usage and is a good source of Vitamin C.
Celery has characteristically thin skin stalks and a stronger taste and smell compared to other cultivars. It is used as a flavoring in soups and sometimes pickled as a side dish.
